English couple James and Catherine Kingslake’s 29 hectare estate in Limoux, the Languedoc, was carefully chosen, for its limestone soil base, and its significant altitude – 300m above sea level.
The cool evenings make for a longer ripening season, more developed flavour compounds, and refreshing acidity, which in this case, balances the redcurrant and strawberry flavours.
A dry, crisp, but fruity rosé, with a mineral hints. This is classy refreshment.
