This spicy and herbal (or “garrigues” influenced) red marries the generous body of Grenache, the structure of Syrah and the spice of Mourvèdre. Decanting recommended – any clean jug will do!
This is a fresh but dense wine, with a depth of flavour and a weight that would match roast beef, lamb, Puy lentils or firm and unsmoked cheeses.
From a quality focussed small Languedoc estate, where winemaker Brunnhilde Claux makes fresh but complex wines, using whole bunch fermentation and gentle foot treading.
