Tom Hills bought two dry-farmed vineyards in 2015 to create Domaine La Lauzeta, and immediately began organic conversion of these dry farmed and low yielding vines.

  This is a taste of the estate’s first vintage – a blend of 70% Syrah and 30% Carignan, this is a full bodied but supple and deeply fruity red, with hints of ‘garrigues’ herbs, and distinct savoury notes of smoke and leather. The higher proportion of old vine Carignan in this vintage lends a deep purple colour, and a robust, vigorous feel.

Pairs well with slow cooked and earthy dishes – think braised red meat or a herby lentil casserole.
