When travelling and harvesting in the Antipodes in 2018, we fell in love with Australian wine culture. Inclusive and unpretentious, wine was drank and shared as commonly as beer, and often enjoyed outside before, during or after a barbecue.
We found a great wealth of small independent producers, many of whom are unknown and unrepresented in the UK. They often had their own cellar door where you could enjoy their wines in an informal, low key way.
Fast forward seven years, and we are now the sole UK importer of Smallfry Wines, who make natural wines from the old vines of their largely ungrafted vineyard in Barossa Valley, which was planted back in the 1850s.
For this event, we want to bring a flavour of Australian wine culture to Norwich, and put on a relaxed and informal evening with wines ideal for Summer time drinking.
