About Bodegas Robles, ‘Caprichoso’ NV (50cl)
Capricious indeed – a blend of the sun-dried and raisined Pedro Ximénez grapes that Montilla Moriles is justifiably famous for, and Verdejo, a dry white more commonly seen further north, in Rueda.
The sweetness of the one and the acidity of the other makes for a refreshing and lively medium sweet wine. Enjoy slightly chilled as an aperitif, or with salty or blue cheeses, almond biscuits or fruit cake.
