One of three small batch, single varietal reds. made by taking apart three old barrels and filling them with destemmed whole grapes, to encourage an intracellular fermentation, Beaujolais style, rather than traditional grape-crushing. This has helped create three wines soft and rounded wines with minimal tannins, all approachable in their youth. The Syrah is the deepest of the three, and we like it best at ambient temperature.
