We briefly met Daniel and Hélène Boulle at the Dynamic Vines portfolio tasting earlier this year. They are genuine farmers, and we could see the soil under their fingernails. In a natural wine scene increasingly peopled by trendy hipsters, their down to earth appearance appealed to we scruffy Substratians.

This is a classic blend of Viognier, Roussanne and Clairette, marrying aromatics, body and good natural acidity, even in a hot and dry vintage. Notes of lemon, peach and pineapple – this will mature happily over the next three years.
