A rich and potent red from France’s Southern Rhône valley, this unbaked blend of Syrah and Grenache has plenty of berry fruit flavours (raspberry, blackberry) and a hint of black pepper spice.

Unoaked, and bottled without filtration, this offers a classy representation of the village of Visan. This is one of the named villages in the valley, a couple of rungs up the quality ladder from a Côtes du Rhône.

The Rhône has one of the highest proportions of organic growers of any wine region, helped by the Mistral, the hot wind that blows up the Valley, constantly refreshing the grape canopy, and inhibiting the growth of fungal disease.
