Natural biodynamic lightly sparkling wine.

This new addition to the Meinklang range is a pétillant naturel (or ‘pet nat’), an unfiltered sparkling wine made using only the naturally occurring yeasts and sugars.

The wine is bottled before the first fermentation completes, so that the carbon dioxide that is produced as a by-product of alcoholic fermentation is retained within the bottle, making the wine lightly sparkling.

This one is a blend of 50% Grüner Veltliner, 40% Welschriesling and 10% Muscat. It’s yeasty, with a dry finish and we get notes of lemon, apple and pear. With a low abv, it makes a refreshing lunchtime or arrival drink, and is a great choice for a party.
