Unique wine made from 80% white grapes (Fernão Pires) and 20% red grapes (Trincadeira), in accordance with a 13th century recipe and process documented by Cistercian monks. A curious medley of flavours – necatrine, raspberry, blackcurrant and liquorice, with richer, buttery hints. Served chilled, it tastes more like a white; at room temperature, more like a red.
