Massimiliana Spinola is the flamboyant producer who converted this old family estate to biodynamic farming, and who now works her 13 hectares with heavy horse.
This powerful Piemontese red is made mainly from Barbera, with approx 30% Cabernet Sauvignon. Bursting with raspberry, blackcurrant and blackberry fruit flavours, with an almond or marzipan note, it has bright acidity and a supple softness.
A clean, natural wine; made without the addition of sulphites.
