Domaine La Lauzeta, La Lauzeta 2016
6 in stock
Tom Hills bought two old vineyards in 2015 to create Domaine La Lauzeta, and immediately began organic conversion of these dry farmed and low yielding vines. He has quickly gained recognition, and his wines are listed on 17 French Michelin starred restaurants.
This is Tom’s top wine, made in the second year of organic conversion. It is deep, dark, dense and meaty. The fruit has developed, with notes of dried fig and prune; the tannins have softened, but there is serious structure here, alongside Garrigue notes of lavender and thyme.
